The company will keep your personal information during the time you are a client of the company and will store this information for up to 5 years after our last interaction. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by manually deleting and erasing your information from all storage devices.

Marketing

The company would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies. Our partner companies will vary depending on business alliances formed that the company sees as being beneficial to its clients.

SMS Terms & Conditions

Overview

By providing your mobile number and replying YES, you agree to receive SMS messages from TrueLink Professional Services related to appointment reminders, service updates, and support notifications. These messages are intended for one‑to‑one business communications.

  • Message Frequency: Up to 60 messages per month.
  • Message & Data Rates: May apply per your carrier plan.
  • Help: Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Opt‑Out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscription is immediate but may take up to 24 hours to fully process.
  • Availability: SMS service is available to recipients with mobile numbers registered in Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico.
  • Third-Party Sharing: TrueLink Professional Services does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or any other purposes unrelated to delivering the SMS service.

Eligibility & Consent

You must be 18 years or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and the authorized user of the mobile number you provide. By opting in, you represent that you have provided valid consent to receive SMS messages from TrueLink Professional Services and that you understand the nature and frequency of such messages.

Opt‑In Methods

You may opt in by:

  • Entering your mobile number during account creation / booking / service enrollment and replying YES to the confirmation message; or
  • Providing written or electronic consent via web form / point‑of‑sale / customer support interaction followed by SMS confirmation.

Your opt‑in is direct and verifiable and will be recorded for compliance purposes.

Opt‑Out, Help, and Support

  • STOP: Reply STOP to any SMS to end all messages from TrueLink Professional Services to that number.
  • HELP: Reply HELP to receive instructions and contact options.

Types of Messages

We may send messages including (but not limited to):

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders

No Third-Party Sharing

TrueLink Professional Services does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or any other purposes unrelated to delivering the SMS service. No MMS & Technical Limitations

At this time, messages are limited to SMS text only. Attachments, images, stickers, GIFs, and other media are not supported. Longer messages may be delivered as multiple SMS segments. Service availability may be affected by your mobile carrier, network coverage, and device settings.

Charges & Carrier Disclosure

TrueLink Professional Services does not charge for receiving our SMS messages; however, standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may depend on your carrier’s network policies and device compatibility.

Privacy & Data Use

We respect your privacy. We collect and process:

  • Your mobile number, message content, timestamp, and consent records;
  • Log data necessary for delivery, troubleshooting, and compliance.

We use this information to provide the SMS service, maintain records of your opt‑in/opt‑out preferences, and meet regulatory obligations. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data to service providers who assist in delivering the SMS service (e.g., telecom operators and platform providers) under appropriate agreements.

Data Retention

We retain consent records, opt‑out events, and message logs for as long as needed to provide the service and comply with applicable laws and audit requirements. If you opt out, we retain the opt‑out record to prevent further messaging to that number.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect SMS‑related data. However, SMS is not a secure communication channel and may be susceptible to interception. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information by SMS.

Prohibited Use

You may not use this SMS channel to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or harmful content; solicit illegal activities; or share confidential information. We may suspend or terminate messaging for suspected abuse or policy violations.

Service Changes & Suspension

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice, including to comply with carrier rules or regulatory requirements.

Disclaimers

The SMS service is provided on an “as‑is” and “as‑available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free delivery. TrueLink Professional Services disclaims all implied warranties to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueLink Professional Services and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the SMS service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed $500 (or the amount you paid for the service, whichever is greater).

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these SMS Terms will be governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to arbitration / exclusive jurisdiction in Alberta courts and waive class actions to the fullest extent permissible by law.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The Effective Date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the SMS service after changes constitutes acceptance.
